What to Expect When You Visit Us:

Have you attended a social event where everybody in attendance knows somebody in the crowd? It can be an awkward experience, feeling that everybody else has some kind of history and you are the odd one out!

Visiting a new church can often feel like you are visiting a country club. Everybody is really friendly - only to the person they already know. Am I going to fit in? Will I have anything in common with these people? Are they going to ask me for money? Will my children feel comfortable? How should I dress? Are people going to judge me if I have questions about God?

As our guest, we want your experience at New Horizon to be enjoyable and relaxing. If you are stressed, we are doing something wrong!  There was a recent survey that found the #1 reason people gave for not going to church is that they have been to church.  We are making a effort to change that.

You will notice that everybody is dressed in a variety of styles. Most people wear comfortable, casual clothes, but others may be dressed in a suit and tie; the bottom line is that you are welcome to dress however you feel comfortable.
